My favorite Disney movies.

As you now know, I am a big Disney fan.
Writing this article is actually pretty hard, I never had to sort my favorite Disney movies, and there are so many, how am I supposed to pick a few favorites ?
So here is a top 10 of my favorite Disney movies (this top includes Disney Pixar movies.)

1. The Aristocats
This was not actually complicated. I've always loved The Aristocats ever since I was a little kid. I have an old poster in my room, I've had it since forever.
I love everything about this movie. First of all, the characters are cats!! Who can dislike this ?
And I love how the movie looks! The drawings are so good, and we can actually see them as they are. I could watch this movie on loop forever.

2. Lilo & Stitch 
This is also one of the classic Disney movie from my childhood. I used to watch the animated TV series on my TV when I was younger.
This story makes my heart melt. If I had been Lilo, I too would have chosen Stitch. He's just so cute!
Fun fact: the last time I went to Disneyland Paris, I went to see the show Stitch Live! and Stitch said he loved me and that I was his wife haha, I've had lots of fun that time!

3. Tangled 
Rapunzel is by far my favorite Disney princess and her movie comes 3rd in my Disney movies ranking.
She's joyful and pretty badass (she's ready to fight with a frying pan!) and her hair is absolute goal (her braid tbh.)!
Also, can we take a moment to talk about Flynn and their two sidekicks, Pascal and Maximus who are the absolute best ?
The songs in this movie are also sooo good! My favorite are I See The Light and I've Got a Dream.

4. Brave
My second favorite princess is Merida.
I love Scotland and she's Scot! Her accent is everything.
As the title says so, Merida is a brave young woman who defies the tradition of her future husband being chose through a competition. She wants to make her own choices for her future life and that includes marriage.
She's a skilled archer and that makes her quite badass!
Her song is also amazing, I love the music that reminds us of traditionnal scottish music and the lyrics are also very good.
And aren't her brothers adorable ?

5. The 101 Dalmatians
Okay, yes, I'll admit it, I love animals very much.
The 101 Dalmatians is such a good movie! The villain, Cruella, is perfectly scary (and seriously, who is willing to kill puppies for a coat??), Pongo and Perdita are so cute, I want dogs like them. And the encounter between them and between their humans is so adorable!
And seeing so many puppies makes my heart melt, they're adorable I could adopt them all.
And the drawings in this movie are also really good and remind me of The Aristocats's, this is also why I love this movie so much.

6. Mulan
And yet another badass woman who fights the traditions.
She goes to war to prevent her father from getting hurt and does it very well. She won't let anyone tell her what to do or how to behave and that's very brave of her, especially at that time !
This movie's songs are all so great too! From Reflection to A Girl Worth Fighting For including I'll Make a Man Out Of You, all the songs are amazing and I know them almost by heart.
Also, can someone invent a make-up remover that cleans off make-up as well as Mulan's outfit ?

7. Coco
I could not make a top 10 of my favorite Disney movies without including this masterpiece.
Coco is such a beautiful movie that tells a beautiful story.
First of all, the colors are magnificient.
And this movie is so beautiful, I cried at the end. Not that is was particularly sad but just beautiful.
The songs are also very good and the plot! I can't wait to own the DVD (released in over a month in France...) to watch it again.
I had the opportunity to take a picture with Miguel at DLP! It was a puppet really well done!

8. Moana 
Everything about this movie is good. Moana is a strong young woman, daughter of the village's chief, she's strong-minded and independent, she even was bold enough to face a demi-God!
Once again, the songs from this movie are also amazing and I know them by heart for sure.
I've seen this movie so many times! And it will never be enough.

9. Frozen
I've seen this movie seven times, at least, and I also know the songs by heart.
It felt kind of new, and it feels like Disney is kind of criticizing itself with Elsa saying that one must not marry someone he/she just met. Litteraly every other Disney princess before Frozen ends up marrying the first man she met after a couple of hours spent together.
You may think that Let It Go is overrated and overheard but I love this independence song.
Also, Anna is clumsy and relatable in this way.
And I love Sven.

10. Enchanted
Such a fun movie!
I've laughed so much watching it, the contrast between the fairytale life and real life is hilarious. Giselle cuts the curtains to make herself a new dress.
And the love story is also adorable!
This movie is a real success according to me.
I can't wait for the second movie, it's gonna be fun too!
