United Kingdom.

The Windsor Castle
I have been lucky enough to visit several countries (this will probably be a future post) but I think my favorite country among them is the United Kingdom.

England.
I have been to London three times in my life and god I love this city. I first visited this city 8 years ago, during the summer, then another week during the next summer, and the last time I've been there was two years ago, in 2016, thanks to my English teacher from that year who took 60 of us there.

When I first went there, back in 2010, I barely knew English. And we went to see the Queen musical, We Will Rock You, and I remember having to ask my mother every five minutes about what was happening in the play. We wandered a lot in the city, and I basically fell in love with it. It is such a beautiful place! In 2011, when we went back, we did more or less the same thing. We had many walks in London.
I kind of feel old writing this, it feels like yesterday!

I've visited more places when I went to England with high school. We went there for five days and we spent two of them in London, on the first day, I visited the War Museum in London, it was really interesting. The three other days, we've visited the Windsor Castle, a castle where the English royal family sometimes goes. It's a very beautiful place. I also had the chance to visit the Harry Potter Studios there! It was huge, and really great!

Scotland
In 2017, the same teacher organized a trip to Scotland and I had to go. I've always dreamt to visit Scotland (maybe partly because of Outlander).
So I went there with one of my friends and I had the time of my life. It was one hell of an emotional week. My friend introduced me to someone who became one of my closest friends at the moment.
We had to take the bus and the boat for a total of 24 hours, and we had to sleep in the boat! We had small bedrooms for 4 people. I was with my friends and two friends of hers. Obviously, girls were supposed to sleep with girls and boys with boys. But it was all a mess and I ended up sleeping with my friend and the one she had introduced me to earlier that day. I had such a great time that time. Although I did not really know him, he talked to me about his personnal problems and I talked about mine.
We arrived at Newcastle and drove to the Hadrien wall. The view was lovely.

Edinburgh truly was a splendid city! Although it rained, like, a lot (it even snowed!), I enjoyed this place very much. So much, that I even plan on study there in the year 2019-2020 thanks to the Erasmus program!
We have visited one castle, one museum, the last royal yacht The Britania. The yacht was really impressive! The inside was actually more beautiful than any house or appartment I could ever own, but that's not surprising since it's a royal boat! I've also visited a distillery and I went on a small boat (definitely not the Britania) on a lake. It was windy and cold but fun et beautiful!
I really wish to visit Scotland once again, before I potentially move there. There are so many places I haven't seen!
